With us today was Scott Hed the director of the Sportsman's Alliance for Alaska. Their main mission is trying to stop the construction of Pebble Mine, which is a proposed mine that could potentially destroy the natural resources that the area has.
Doppler Effect
What I liked about the interview was the portion we spent talking about how the Alaskan's voted. I am constantly surprised by how often people end up being confused at the ballot box, and the serious consequences that this leads to. Discussing the various ways that the corporations skewed the topic also put a bit of a dent in the perceived democracy of the event.
