The most popular Earshot to date. This featured a debate between NYU Local and WSN, the two main sources of inter campus news, on the roles of each journalistic medium.
Fortunately, we were able to delve into the Take Back NYU! protest at Kimmel seeing as both sources covered the situation from start to finish.
Earshot Feb. 19th
While the discussion was fierce, it highlighted the idea that newspaper and online journalism may both serve unique and important functions. As for covering the sit-in at Kimmel, NYU Local provided more of a play-by-play and WSN took a step back to assess the situation from a few more angles. Which better served the readers?
